1.0      National Stock Exchange (NSE) Benchmark Index Nifty50 :-

[A]       Movement of Benchmark Index : 

Nifty50 opened flat and made Day's high at 7,505 and made Day's high  at 7,527.
Thereafter Nifty50 continue to slide to make Day's Low at 7.442.

Nifty50 finally closed at  7,485 or FLAT.

[B]         Movements in Derivative Contracts of Bench Mark Index Nifty50 :

(i)         Future Contract :-

Through out the session, Near Month or March'16 Expiry Nifty50 Future, traded in Discount and finally closed with Cost of Carry of -6.85 at 7,452 or 0.1% Lower. Open Interest Increased by 3.49%.

Increase in OI indicates Short Built up.  - - -   Future was trading in Discount.

(ii)    Near month Expiry or March16 Expiry Option Contracts:-

Highest Open Interest(OI) of Call Options was at 7,500 strike (Same as previous session).Short Built up at 7,500 Call strike was seen .

Highest OI of Put Options was at 7,000 Put strike (no change). Long Unwinding was seen at 7,000 PUT strike.

Highest trading volume of Call options was recorded at 7,500 strike, whereas highest trading volume of Put options was recorded at 7,300 strike. 

(iii)     Implied volatility (IV)

IV  of Near month March'16 Expiry 7,500 strike Call Option was seen at 10.80, whereas
IV of Near month March'16 Expiry 7,500 strike Put Option was seen at 21.44..

(iv)     Put Call Ratio (PCR) :

PCR of Near month March'16 Expiry Options was recorded as.

1.09 (Vol), against previous sessions 0.97(vol)  - Increased 
1.14 (OI),  against previous session's 1.14 (OI) -  No Change.

2.0         Movement of India Volatility - Index INDIA VIX :-

IndiaVix TRADED in Green and finally closed 3.26% Higher at 18.4650.

3.0 Advance Decline Ratio(ADR) :-

NSE Advance Decline Ratio(ADR) opened above at 1.5. ADR finally closed at 0.96 i.e. on NSE, 766 stocks closed in GREEN against 787 stocks closed in RED or in simple words, out of every 100 stocks 49 stock closed with gain.

4.0 Movement of Currency Future :-

At the end of session, USD-INR Near Month future(March'16 Exp) closed in GREEN at 67.63 INR 0r 0.39% Higher.

5.0 Sectoral Indices - Closing:- 

At the end of session 

NiftyMetal Index closed 2.37% Higher.

NiftyFMCG Index closed 0.36% Higher.

Nifty Reality Index closed 0.95% Higher.

NiftyAuto Index closed 0.06% Higher.
NiftyPharma Index closed 0.28% Higher

BankNifty Index closed 1.26% Lower.

NiftyIT Index closed 0.61% Lower.

6.0 Daily Movement of the  Front line  Stocks :-

At the end of session 

Reliance Closed  1.65%  Higher.

TATASTEEL Closed 1% Higher.
TATAMOTORS closed 0.58 % Higher.
SunPharma closed 0.26% Higher.
HUL closed 2.79% Lower.
Infosys closed 0.84% Lower,
SBIN closed 2.81% Lower.

7.0 New 52 Week High made by front line  stocks during the Day :-

10.0 Daily Turnover on NSE :-

On NSE, Turnover in Equity segment was 17,889 Crore INR which was LOWER Than .previous session; Turnover in Derivative segment was 2,00,424 crore INR which was  LOWER than previous session. 

11.0 FIIs/DIIs Daily Activity :-

As per EoD provisional statistics FII/FPIs BOUGHT equity worth 775 Crore INR (net),whereas DIIs Sold equity worth 1,341 crore INR(net) .

12.0 Important Development during the Day :-

Prices of iron ore, a key industrial metal seen as a proxy for demand in the global economy, spiked by a record 17% on Monday. Whereas Data of February export from China was showing huge drop of 25%. This mixed signal resulted into cautious view in Global Equity Market. 

All major  Asian and European Stock Markets in the world closed in RED. At the time of writing this blog, all 3 major of US Stock markets were trading in RED.

13.0 Way Ahead :-

At the end of session, India Vix is placed in GREEN below 20. NSE ADR is placed at 0.97. Both these together indicates Neutral view with negative bias for upcoming session at the opening.
