01.01.16 Indian share market

Nifty50 opened in downward gap, hovered between 7930 and 7950, and finally closed at 7963. India Vix traded in GREEN closed in 2.81% higher. NSE ADR remained above two and closed at 2.46. 

NiftyMetal Index closed 0.2% higher. NiftyPharma Index closed 0.14% higher. NiftyIT Index closed 0.34% lower. NiftyReality Index closed 1.88% higher. BankNifty closed 0.7% higher. NiftyAuto index closed 0.9% higher. NiftyFMCG Index closed flat.

Reliance closed flat. Pipavav Defence closed 2.75% higher. Welspun Corp closed 1.6% lower. TataSteel closed 0.2% higher. Glenmark closed 0.34% higher. SunPharma closed 0.8% lower. Cadila closed 1.45% higher. Infy closed 0.22% lower. TCS closed 0.98% lower. Oberoi Reality closed 1% higher. ICICI Bank closed 0.46% higher. SBI closed 1.47% higher. Bosch closed 3% higher above its critical level of 19000 INR. TataMotor closed 2.68% higher.

On NSE, volume in Equity and Derivative segment was lower than previous session. As per EoD provisional statistics, FII/FPIs bough equity worth 228 crore INR(net), and DIIs sold equity worth 81 crore INR(net).

At the end of session, India Vix is placed in GREEN. NSE ADR is placed above two. Both these together indicates neutral view.
