Nifty50 opened in upward gape, made intra-day high at 7778 and thereafter hovered around 7760. Nifty50 finally closed 0.65% higher at 7750. India Vix traded in RED and closed in RED. NSE ADR opened near to three and declined to close slightly above one. After opening in downward gape, USD-INR Dec. future closed 0.38% lower at 66.84 on NSE.
After opening in upward gape, BankNifty hovered around 16600 and closed 1.1% higher at 16579. NiftyAUTO Index negatively reacted to H'ble SC's verdict on Diesel vehicles and closed 0.58% lower. NiftyIT Index closed 0.8% higher. NiftyPharma Index closed 0.7% higher. NiftyFMCG Index closed 0.76% lower. NiftyMetal Index closed 0.1% higher. NiftyReality closed 1.1% higher.
ICICIBank closed 2.5% higher. PNB hit 52 week low and closed at 0.53% lower. SBI closed 0.35% higher. BharatForge closed 2.25% higher. M&M closed 5% lower. Bosch closed 0.45% lower. ApolloTyre closed 0.9% higher. Infy closed 1.54% higher at 1094. TCS closed 1.33% higher. SunPharma closed 1.4% higher. DRL closed 0.45% higher. Glenmark closed 0,96% higher. Welspun corp closed 2.45% higher. TataSteel closed 0,43% higher. IBReality closed 1.2% higher. TataGlobal Beverages closed 2,5% higher. Godrej Consumer products closed 0.94% higher. Volume in NSE cash and derivative segment was higher. As per provisional data, FII/FPIs sold equity worth Rs 500 crore INR(net), whereas DIIs bought equity worth 1024 coroe INR(net).
India Vix closed in RED and NSE ADR is placed near one. H'ble FM's statement that "GST bill will not be presented in on-going winter session of parliament " and tonight's USFDA decision on "Rate Hike" will be guiding factor for following session.
