Nifty50 opened in downward gap at 7829 and hovered around 7800. In last hour Nifty50 slipped to day's low at 7753 and finally closed 1% down at 7762. On daily chart, Nifty50, filled up downward gap between 7853 and 7824 made on 3rd and 4th Dec'15. India Vix traded in Green and closed below 15 in GREEN. NSE ADR flip-flop above and below level of one and finally closed below one. USD-INR Dec. future on NSE hovered around 66.5 INR and closed flat at 66.47 INR.
NiftyReality Index closed 0.27% higher. Except NiftyReality Index, all other sectoral Indices closed in RED. NiftyIT closed 1.35% lower. NiftyPharma closed 0.92% lower. NiftyMetal closed 1.27% lower. BankNifty closed 0.88% lower. NiftyFMCG closed 0.64% lower. NiftyAuto Index closed 0.86% lower.
Reliance closed 1.9% lower. Oberity relaity closed 3% higher. Infy closed 1.9% lower. Tech Mahindara closed 1.5% lower. TCS closed 1.2% lower. Glenmark closed 2.3% higher. SunPharma closed 1% down. Vedanta closed 3.1% lower. Welspun Corp closed 2.9% lower.TataSteel closed 0.45% lower. SBI closed 2% lower. ICICI Bank closed 1.2% lower. PNB closed 0.37% lower. HUL closed 1.3% lower. Nestle closed 3.7% lower. Coffee Day closed 0.42% higher. ApolloTyre closed 1.9% lower. Maruti closed 1% lower. Bosch closed 0.8% lower.
Volume in NSE Equity segment was higher, whereas volume in NSE Derivative segment was slightly less than previous session. As per provisional EoD statistics, FPS/FIIs sold equity worth 7 crore INR (net) and DIIs sold equity worth 400 crore INR (net).
At the end of session, India VIX closed in GREEN and placed below 15. At the end of session, NSE ADR is placed below one. Together both these indicates weak opening for Nifty50 on Monday. Lately in US market Dow opened in downward gap and traded in RED.
