Nifty50 opened in upward gap at 7888, hovered around 7860, made day's low at 7835 and after V shape recovery, finally closed flat at 7861. India Vix traded in RED and switched into GREEN zone to close in GREEN. NSE ADR hovered around two, gradually slipped to close at 1.3. 

NiftyMetal Index closed 0.83 % higher. NiftyPharma Index closed 0.09% lower. NiftyIT Index closed 0.1% lower. NiftyReality Index closed 0.38% lower. BankNifty closed 0.42% lower. NiftyAuto index closed 0.32% higher. NiftyFMCG Index closed 0.0.37% higher.

Reliance closed 0.14% lower. Pipavav Defence closed 19% higher. Hindalco closed 1.9% higher. Vedanta closed 3.1% higher Glenmark closed 2% lower. AuroPharma closed 0.1% higher. Infy closed 0.46% lower. TCS closed 0.38% higher. Oberoi Reality closed 0.1% higher. .ICICI Bank closed 1.28% lower. SBI closed 0.5% lower. PNB made fresh 52 week low and closed 1% lower. Bosch closed 0.15% lower. TataMotor closed 1% higher. Marico closed 1% higher.

On NSE, volume in Equity and Derivative segment was lesser than previous session. As per EoD provisional statistics, FII/FPIs sold equity worth 112 crore INR(net), and DIIs bought equity worth 8 crore INR(net).

At the end of session, India Vix has placed well below 15 in GREEN. NSE ADR is placed above one. Both these together indicates neutral view.
