Nifty50 opened in downward gap, made low at 7733. Thereafter, Nifty50 continuously rise to made day's high at 7840, finally closed at 7834. IndiaVix opened in GREEN, and finally closed in RED. NSE ADR hovered around three and closed at 2.5. NSE-USD-INR Dec future closed 0.1% lower at 66.38 INR.
BankNifty closed 1.4% higher. NiftyAuto Index closed 0.94% higher. NiftyMetal Index closed 1.56% higher. NiftyIT Index closed 0.02% higher. NiftyPharma closed 0.9% lower. NiftyFMCG Index closed 1.62% higher. NiftyRelity closed 1.2% higher.
Reliance closed 0.14% lower at 990.50 INR. Nestle closed flat at 5675 INR. Rcom closed 0.6% higher. Indian Hotel closed 1.9% higher at 113 INR. ICICI Bank closed 3% higher. SBI closed 1.77% higher. M&M closed 2.8% higher. Bosch closed 0.2% higher. Maruti closed 0.31% higher. Infy closed 2.2% higher. TCS closed 1.08% higher. Glenmark closed 2% higher. DRL closed 1.1% higher. SunPharma closed 4% lower. Vedanta closed 2.7% higher. TataSteel closed 0.74% higher. ITC closed 2.76% higher. HDIL closed 8% higher. Godrej Property closed 2.6% higher.
Volume in NSE equity segment was less than previous session, whereas volume in NSE Derivative segment was higher. As per EoD statistics, FPI/FIIs bought equity worth 37 crore INR(net). DIIs bought equity worth 62 crore INR(net).
At the end of session, IndiaVix is placed in RED and NSE ADR is placed above two. Together both these indicates internal strength of market. This week has only four trading session, as Market will observe Christmas holiday on Friday.
